TONIC CLONIC

Tonic Clonic is a multi-disciplinarian super-group who has begun to build an audience of fans and curiosity around their underground and wild performances in Tel Aviv, and throughout Israel. By means of obscure and decadent texts about human experience, a musical combination between dark cabaret, psychedelic rock and bitter melodic pop melodies, they create a total and colorful experience for both eye and ear. The seven-member band artists who come from different fields, combine ecstatic expressive performance with dance, video art and costumes creating an atmosphere that swirl the senses.

 

Their debut album released on Feb 2019 and produced by Orel Tammuz (KIDS FLY, UMLALA, KIM).  It was played on various radio stations and received enthusiastic reviews. Three music videos from it, directed by the band's leader Ophiir Ben Shimon, won prizes in competitions around the world.

Their second album is about to be released on December 2022
The three singles released so far -  “Everyone sits alone”,  “We had something” and “You’re with me”, (all accompanied by colorful video clips directed by Ben-Shim’on) received positive reviews from critics and radio broadcasters, and were added to various playlists (amongst them is the KAN 88 playlist).
